With over 50m of conveyor length and 5.0m width, this oven is one of the most advanced pieces of baking equipment in operation and is capable of producing well in excess of 12,000 loaves per hour.

Combining Spooner’s dynamically balanced oven pressure with the new features gives an even and consistent bake profile over a large surface area and reduces bake times. This oven solution can offer 20% energy saving figures compared to a conventional forced convection oven, helping improve the company’s corporate social responsibility, carbon footprint and operational costs.

This bespoke toast/pan bread bakery oven is just one of the ways Spooner has worked with clients to reduce energy, develop existing and new baking processes for products such as savoury pies, crispbreads, granola and tortillas.
